The fence he built is functional and looks fine from a distance, but up close you can see where some boards don't quite line up. For the price I paid, I expected better attention to detail. This is tough because he came highly recommended by my neighbor. Maybe he was having an off week? The job took three days when he estimated one, and I had to take time off work each day to let him in. The final result is acceptable but there were definitely some corners cut. My neighbor swears her experience was totally different so maybe I just got unlucky.
